Where Art Meets the Wave - Cornwall Hospice Project 2025
Following on from the Around Cornwall in 38 Churns project which raised an astonishing £50,000 in 2022 for Cornwall Hospice Care, volunteer fundraiser Sue Dennett is championing a new artistic project for 2024/2025 called "Where Art Meets the Wave."
My signature ‘Beachscape’ style can be seen on this beautiful board created by Surf Classic®, with the pops of surfboard colour jumping out from the beautiful gradient colours of the sea through to the beach.
All boards should be finished by April 2025 and they will be exhibited together at a number of locations across Cornwall, details to be confirmed. In parallel to the exhibitions, similar to the milk churns, these boards will be available to bid to purchase via an online auction organised by Lay’s Auctioneers of Penzance. Bidding will open in Spring 2025, closing in a final exhibition in September.
